Donations made to the Davis Montessori Education Foundation (DMEF), a nonprofit 501(c)(3) tax exempt public benefit corporation formed for the exclusive purpose of supporting the Birch Lane Montessori Program, directly support the Birch Lane Montessori Program.
Donations are used to purchase Montessori materials for classroom use. Teachers decide which materials are needed most and funds are applied to the acquisition of materials in order of priority. Donations also are used to support teacher professional development and parent education.
