Hello! My name is Evangeline De La Torre and I am proud to be one of the 4/5/6 Montessori teachers here at BLE! I grew up in Suisun City, California where I enjoyed long-distance running, swimming, and singing. These days, I enjoy various workout classes, baking, and discovering new restaurants with my husband.  

I received my B.S. in Human Development with a minor in Education and Multiple Subject Teaching Credential at UC Davis. During my credential year, I student taught in one of our 2/3 Montessori classroom at BLE and quickly fell in love with the Montessori philosophy. Afterwards, I taught as a 2/3 Montessori teacher at CMP Orangevale for one year and then as a Homeschool Teacher at About F.A.C.E in Vacaville for 3 years.

I am very excited to return to the BLE community and look forward to guiding my students to a love a learning, collaborating with staff, and partnering with families!
